Heād wanted to know how the so-called āascension candiesā and ādescension candiesā worked. This... was unintentional.
The candies are not particularly difficult to get ahold of; many of the festivities currently going on involve their usage in some way, and the bowls appear to (magically?!) never run out of candy, meaning that there is a pretty good supply of both types of candy for anyone who wishes to make use of them. But... unfortunately, none of this matters when Peter is now too small to reach the bowl sitting atop the table.
Somehow turning himself into a bunny by eating one of theĀ āascension candiesā is his first mistake. Everything is huge. The tables loom over him, the candy bowls now an impossible distance away. Now, this is far from an ideal situation, but in theory itās still a pretty solvable issue; after all, itās not like the candies are so rare or anything, so even if he canāt access this particular table at the moment, surely thereās a bowl somewhere he can reachĀ ā right?
He goes looking for one. This turns out to be mistake number two. Itās surprisingly easy to get lost when youāre a fraction of your previous height. The forest in the Cotes Fantastci Ward (which, to be fair, heās gotten lost in multiple times before ā in his defense, itās not like he has extensive experience navigating the woods!) seems even bigger now; bushes tower over him like trees, and longer patches of grass match him in height.Ā And there are foxes in the woodsĀ ā strange foxes that stand on two legs like people, but foxes nonethelessĀ ā and donāt foxes eat rabbits? Getting eaten is not something Peterās ever had to worry about in his entire life until now, and he doesnāt particularly like the feeling.
Foxes are not the only creatures in the woods, however. Thereās a heavy thud somewhere in front of himĀ ā is that someoneās shoe? A boot? Holy shit, itās a giant.
@inheritednameā, you look very big from all the way down here. / event!
