CONSEQUENCE

A 24 hour break is just... having a regular life. It’s a surprise to some, I know, but people actually can put this site out of mind for 24 hours. That’s not going to do fuck all. You have to keep going @staff to the point where people start to notice.

“Would were it so easy for people like you. You rob, cheat, kill, and then expect the world to forget and forgive once you’re ready to shake your boots from the wilderness and take your place amongst society? Unthinkable… But not impossible.” A breath of composure, his hat is momentarily taken in hand as sweat is wiped from his brow. “My offer is this: Keep us posted on Dutch van der Linde and his associates. I want to know where they are, who they’re consorting with, and what their plans are. Play your cards right, do this for us, and I can wipe your past clean as can be. You have my word.”

“Ma’am.” Deadpan, though, for civilities sake does Agent Ross tip his black bowler to the approaching woman. Always helps if a charge was kept at ease. “Tables are back that way if you’re lost.”

Not five minutes later Ross told the same joke.

They were little more than a group of well equipped bounty hunters being bankrolled by L. Cornwall. SO for Ross to have switched careers and reach the position of Director of the Bureau of Investigation by 1911, he’d have to have been one of the founding thirty-four members hired in 1906. Since the first Director, Stanely Finch, held the title until 1912, we have to assume that in the world of Red Dead, Edgar was elected as the initial Director of the BoI upon it’s founding. 

They specifically called it the US Army to handle dutch. Not the national guard.
