I realized I'd hit a limit of sorts, that the puff pastry of my brain had fully delaminated in the oven of the Dig album and it was time to take that cookie sheet out and let it cool for a while before consuming any more.

So I spent the majority of that 3-hour drive listening to George Clinton and The Andrews Sisters. In case anybody else is in the same boat I was in yesterday, I'm going to share a little Andrews Sisters piece that I bet the guys heard a number of times as kids, the harmonies really remind me of the vocal harmonies on Giants albums. And the horns are fabulous. Enjoy.

P.S. it's possible the John's haven't listened to The Andrews Sisters although I doubt it. They definitely influence Beatles harmonies though so worth it even from that perspective. Pretty great.
