No, bc I think about this a lot actually. Something even funnier to consider is that in the Sherlock Holmes tales, Watson says that she's from New Jersey. So maybe Marvel verse Conan Doyle didn't even know where she was from and just assumed Jersey by her accent. Personally, I've always imagined her with a Mid Atlantic Old Hollywood type.
