Vertical sorting shelf prototype: two IKEA Trofast shelves with Raspberry Pi, Adafruit PWM hat and micro servos.

My goal is to deliver bricks separately one at a time, so they can be automatically classified using computer vision. The bench power supply allows fine adjustment of the motor / vibration speed.

Step feeder prototype from 2016. This has some obvious issues but it does successfully separate large buckets of bricks into small batches of about a dozen pieces.

Powered by 12V windshield wiper motor, 608 skateboard bearings, 1515 OpenBeam push rod, 3D printed PLA brackets.
