Grace gets the memory of all the hail mary crew and Stratt singing, after reflecting on it and thinking he feels shitty that he never sang, like it could have been something for people to remember him by—the stupid 'non savior' Grace with his shitty voice (its not actually shitty is actually very good when he doesn't get stuck in his head)—so he sets up his camera and records himself singing to send them.
Recording starts—I picture this is during a time he had the centrifuge off for some reason—Grace explains the memory he just got and then pushes off towards one of the windows. I assume at least one of the songs sung at the karaoke had the lyrics modified to be a reflection of project hail mary, so Ryland does the same and starts singing
