Another new world, one that Sora hadn’t been to before. It had shown upon the Gummi Ship scanners so Sora had decided to check it out. Upon landing there, he saw that this place looked very different to the other worlds that he had visited in the past. It seemed more modern than usual, kind of having a urban city feel. Which as an islander, Sora was not familiar with in the slightest. The streets were full of people, most of them seeming in a hurry so Sora didn’t get much of a chance to ask the all important question: Where was he? Though there was one benefit to being here, it didn’t seem any Heartless had shown up upon his arrival. 

Though he supposed, like everywhere else, they would show up. He always did. But he pushed that thought from his head. He had to find out where he was. With that in mind, Sora made his way down the crowded street, taking in the tall skyscrapers and the hustle and bustle. Coming from an island, it was pretty overwhelming for him. But he’d eventually get used to it in time, he hoped so anyway. And maybe this would be an opportunity to make some new friends. 

“There’s an army here?” He hadn’t been expecting to hear that but it was pretty cool. Plus Sora had his fair share of fighting experience as well, his gaze shifting over to the uniform that was hanging over one of the chairs in the room they were currently in. 

“I think I’ll be able to pass the physical and boot camp. I’ve seen my fair share of combat after all, so hopefully it’ll all pay off. And yes, it’s definitely something I’d be up for doing. Especially if it helps protect people.” It was what Sora was good at, what he knew how to do. To keep others safe. 

Bill was tending to the gardens when a visitor approached the manor. The blond set down his watering can and walked over to the gate entrance. He didn’t unlock it just yet but Bill did give a wave.

“Greetings. What brings you to the Gleeful Manor? Are you here to see the master?”

“That would be nice. It’d be nice to get a tour of the town anyway.”  

Sora noticed how Will seemed anxious as he walked away from the manor he’d come across, wondering if he should ask. 

“Are you alright, Will? You seem anxious.” 

Bill was tending to the gardens when a visitor approached the manor. The blond set down his watering can and walked over to the gate entrance. He didn’t unlock it just yet but Bill did give a wave.

“Greetings. What brings you to the Gleeful Manor? Are you here to see the master?”

“I don’t suppose you could tell me more about this town, I’m new here after all.” 

It was true, and acting as if he was just a newcomer who had come to to the town would probably be more favorable in the long run. His gaze flickered over to the other person that had come out. Sora noted how he looked a lot like Bill, which was interesting in itself, except he had a white eye patch and bandages, which left Sora with the feeling that there was a reason for it, one that was unknown right now. But it made him feel a little apprehensive. But even with that feeling, he waved back at the newcomer with a friendly smile. 

“Hello, it’s nice to meet you.” 

Sora could sense that the one with blue hair had a light about him, that his heart was pure and full of light. He knew that there were people in the worlds who’s hearts shone brightly, and this person was no exception to the rule. The one with blonde hair, however, Sora could sense darkness coming from him. If Sora didn’t know better, he’d swear that the feeling was demonic, but he’d never encountered demons before in all his travels. 

“Who are you both?”

“Greetings. What brings you to the Gleeful Manor? Are you here to see the master?”

“Oh hello! I’m new here, and I just sort of stumbled across this place, the Gleeful Manor. I’m not here to see the master, but I wouldn’t be opposed to meeting him. Oh, I’m Sora!”

 - “Look away…”  - “How do you do?”  - “That was dismaying…”  - “Show time!”  - “WRONG.”  - “I know what ______ means…”  - “I don’t know who I’m kidding…”  - “It’s marvelous!”  - “You’re a bit old for a girl scout…”
