"Well, if I recall, the AT-4 Spigot and the Metis are virtually the same platform. Just that the Metis carries a lighter missile compared to what you have to lug around for the Spigot. Reduced fuel, but a worth while trade-off when you have to weigh effectiveness versus mobility. Gives you a lot more flexibility to deal with targets at further ranges compared to your standard launchers while not sacrificing too much combat capability when you get into a fire fight. Sad to say but dedicated ATGM emplacements aren't known to be armed to the teeth."

"I think all wire-guided munitions are better shot in place. Don't want that wire to get snagged on something before you're done guiding the missile, you know. But it's versatile in being light enough to shoot from the shoulder as well. Why you do have the little cove at the back of the launcher compared to the Spigot's more...spartan launcher body."

"True, a lot of more modern arsenals have better designed stuff. Definitely from the 70s and onward. Meanwhile stuff like the Spigot, you were pretty much carrying a tank barrel around that fired chunky grenades."

"Huh...I guess launchers could be seen as guns in some ways...Personally, I prefer using a Metis. Like having a bit of range when taking on armor, you know. Also not too terrible to fire from the shoulder, believe it or not...."

"Well, you must be made of tougher stuff than the typical crunchy human, because usually the only 'portability' they get out of a Metis. Is that it can be carried around from spot to spot more easily. Otherwise, they just have it stand in place while firing it."

I didn't realize how popular Umahammer was until me and some friends joked about it earlier in the week.

"Are you telling your trainer what to do?" She'd tease with a chuckle. "The days are getting longer, and the sunrise is happening earlier and earlier. I happened to wake up earlier and wanted to listen to the birds singing and other sounds of nature. Though, it does seem like time has gotten away from me a little."
