you have no room in your dreams for regrets

The best recipes you’ll ever find will be in a thrifted, spiral bound cookbook from a church group or a junior league or an obscure club/organization that includes the names of the individual people who submitted each recipe. Bonus points if the cookbook is from somewhere in the south. You’ll also find some of the strangest recipes you’ve ever heard of, but there are a lot of gems.

I picked up food from a restaurant for dinner didn’t realize until I went to eat it that they had left out something I had ordered. I didn’t want to go back to the restaurant at that point so I ended up calling them to see if they could refund it, and they told me either I could go back to the restaurant and get the dish or I could go back to the restaurant for them to refund me. I asked if there was anything they could do without me going back to the restaurant, because it really wasn’t ideal, and they said they would have a manager call me back. And he eventually did and said he would refund it but he also said “I guess I’ll have to trust you” which felt weirdly passive aggressive. Why would I go through all of this trouble to lie about this? And then after he refunded it, he told me next time I need to check my food before I leave so this doesn’t happen again. Like dude, I don’t think there’s going to be a next time. Why are you putting the blame on me?!

It’s been 8 years and I still remember how it felt during surprise song o’clock at my rep show when Taylor said “I’ve never actually crashed a wedding before”

Does anyone else ever look at a recent picture or video of Taylor and catch a glimpse of her baby face somewhere in there and it hits you that this is still Speak Now Taylor or Fearless Taylor, just all grown up, and it makes you a little emotional? Or is that just me?

I love that every other post on my dash is just some variation of “salt air!!!!!!!!”
