I was listening to a murder mystery audiobook, and when it was describing a girl who was kidnapped, it said she was wearing “a blue Taylor Swift eras tour hoodie” and I don’t think I’ve ever been jolted out of a story that quickly. It was like a fourth wall break to me, I was so caught off guard

I called my dad with a question I would typically ask my mom because I thought she was busy but it turns out my parents were together so I ended up talking to both of them and while we were on the phone, my sister called my dad because apparently she also had a question she wanted to ask my mom but thought she was busy, and it turned into a nice, spontaneous, joint family phone call
