a little sunlit desk reorganization this morning feat. the layer of dust on my laptop screen that i will never, ever escape

This morning I woke up around seven, I went out in the chilly weather and I couldn’t feel any fatigue even though I slept 3h last night. When I got back home I had a cup of coffee and I started writing and sketching, it was a pleasing day and I feel so productive.

the most delicious autumn day today—walked & then took the train through the fog and rain to therapy this morning and had the best session about academia and its expectations, cooked some cinnamon apples to top my oatmeal for lunch and when i tell you the house smelled so warm... opened all the windows to the rain for hours, lit candles and watched them flicker, cleaned my email and made a list of every deadline coming in the next three months, chopped and roasted some vegetables for dinner (favourite kitchen task)—and now i am curled up with tea and my laptop on the couch, one leg resting on a pillow and the other leg's toes tucked under the live-in lover's thigh, to read a draft of a friend's article and draft some of my own words reflecting on the process of letterpress printing—
