And has created the best of my times. I honestly understand why this is all happening. I don’t fault anyone, none of our members, past and present. I don’t fault Naeun or Soojung, they have done more than their fair share of time to better all of our lives and will continue to do so.
I just wanted to write a letter to kind of.. express my feelings to the entire family and mostly to the directory. When I joined, I was about ready to leave completely. I was on my last leg and not really enjoying doing anything. When I first joined on Sojin was the happiest I had been in months upon months. I’ve personally had my ups and downs. But dammit, this directory was the only constant in my life for such a long time. If It wasn’t for tons of people here and countless times of reassurance from said people, I wouldn’t be around. Some people might think that might be a better thing considering I’m not the best member of the directory, I’m a bit polarizing. It’s just how I am. But regardless, the people here accepted that and loved me just the same. I have never been more proud to call myself a member of a family, and for that, among many other reasons, even if Arcana itself leaves, I will not leave Arcana. I doubt anyone here will ever not have Arcana still in their hearts. I think I can speak for most people when I say the event we did was one of the most fun things I’ve had during rping.
I’ll take this part to appreciate the admins, Naeun and Krystal.
Naeun, thank you for working so hard to perfect our graphics and images used to make our beautiful welcomes, and the countless hours of things you’ve done for all of us over the time arcana has existed. I don’t think any of us can appropriately appreciate your commitment to making sure our directory is presented amazingly in the posts that go out for recruitment and for welcoming new members.
Soojungie, thank you for being so awesome to create all the best themeus for our lovely family, and for all the hard work you put in to replying funnily to our endless bullshit we throw at you. When I first joined and noticed how involved you were with everyone it made me feel immediately like this was a family more so than other places I’ve been where the admins feel so distant. Your constant interaction, and furthermore, friendship with everyone has made this family so much closer than you could have imagined.
Both of you made this family what it is from the ground up, and I, as I’m sure many others are extremely grateful for everything you have done, and will continue to do whenever you decide to come back.
And to all the members that are now dispersing, stay in touch with each other. Just because we may be spread out across places in this world of krp, we all had this place as our home. We’re all family no matter where we go.
