If you need a loan, as most poor people eventually do, you will end up paying an interest rate many times more than what a more affluent borrower would be charged. To be poor — especially with children to support and care for — is a perpetual high-wire act.”

Also, I would like to add that black lives have always mattered, will always matter.

It’s awful that we even have to say that because it should be a given. However, we need to say it loud and clear for the racists.

REQUIRED to have elevators in every building

REQUIRED to have braille on every sign

REQUIRED to have auditory options for every text

REQUIRED for children to learn d/Deaf standard sign language in school

REQUIRED that everyone learn how to do CPR and how to detect a stroke

REQUIRED that areas with strobe/flashing lights have proper warnings
