The first thing to greet him upon awakening is the staggering headache hammering away in his head, Sinbad felt nauseous, confused and in pain.

He registered the voice speaking to him however, it still takes him awhile to respond. He turns towards the voice, and that simple act alone magnifies the severity of the pounding. “Hnng,” he grunts, his hand reaching his forehead and pressing intensely. “What-what happened?”

She was still in a sort of disbelief that he’d actually been wandering the streets of his kingdom alone; did he really have this much faith in his own civilians and assume at least one wouldn’t attempt to hurt him? Normally it would be a thought that wouldn’t even cross her mind, but after seeing it first hand in one of the other countries she’d traveled to she couldn’t be sure. Humans were such violent creatures when they wanted something.

“Sinbad…Sindria.” The similarities starting adding up once she’d managed to figure out that the king himself seemed to name this pace after him. It was an amusing thought to say the least; it also struck her as a bit self-centered though. In fact she had a feeling this person wasn’t all he was hyped up to be either.

She chose to ignore his obvious attempt to make her gush like a common woman at the word ‘lovely.’ Reina was called beautiful all her life by the maids in her mothers kingdom, the word honestly held no meaning to her anymore.

“It isn’t as if I’m here for some diplomatic purpose if that’s what you think; I’m simply interested in the strange power you among other royals hold. Not to mention it seems much more proper for a person of my status to be acquainted with those of royal lineage.”

Mildly disappointed, here’s the part where she is supposed to turn into a blushing mess, lose eye-contact and all and any coherent thought, perhaps place a finger upon her lips and stutter, as it was often the case, instead his compliment went, apparently unnoticed. it warrants, that she was not about to fall for his charm anytime soon.

Pity…

And he ignores the anticipated reaction of her figuring out the origin of his kingdom’s name. Honestly, he will never understand why they fail to see what a catchy name it is.

Chichi blinks; there she was having a moment of peace, watching the picturesque view of the sun sinking behind the summit, after spending a long day of seemingly endless, tedious chores; Goten had received a good score on his test and earned him self a night at the Briefs and Goku... well... god forbid she ever knew where Her husband went; she was all alone, enjoying the wind against her skin and the quietness of the forest UNTIL...

“What in the world?!” Chichi drops everything in her hand and goes to investigate. Soon, she finds the object in question with the all too familiar mane. “Goku!” She rushes to her husband side to find him passed out and injured.

Oh great, what the hell did he get himself into this time? and what’s with the black clothes?!

Worried, she makes haste carrying him to her house. Unfortunately, she can’t get her hands on some Sensu beans right now, so she’s gonna have to take care of him the old fashioned way...

Then, what happened completely halted his mind; as if a random lady living in his rival’s dome house which was surrounded by dinosaurs was enough to surprise him, a BABY was another thing coming!! “Wait, whuh? Hold him?!” The teen would find nothing more than a screaming infant on his lap, or least that’s how he viewed him. The King was completely frozen, where his eyes widened to the size of his banquet plates as he stared at the baby.

“Nnnnngh!! Kirby wasn’t as loud as ya, ‘less he finds himself a microphone…!” Dedede knew that Kirby was a baby technically but even so didn’t act like one! The King held the baby’s sides, leaning his head back but still facing the infant, comprehending exactly how to deal with him.

“Awww… how did Ripple cope with Ribbon when she was a fairyling… uhh… rock tha baby on tha Whispy Tree, when tha wind blows… uhh… baby goes ‘whee’? Or was it ‘he shall see’? Aww, damn nursery rhymes, tha baby falls at tha end anyway…”

Nothing was working. “Aw, c’mon, kid! Is there like an off switch on ya or somethin’?”

With all the ruckus Goten was making, she barely heard what he said, still Chichi’s eyes roll inside their sockets. “Yeah, sure...”

She starts to repair the formula for her son, luckily she had decided the night prior to boil his bottles for use, she only needed to heat some water. She tips her head back to hear the young man making an effort to calm Goten, but nothing seems to work for her rowdy son. She laughs, it was admittedly amusing to watch. “I haven’t heard that song before.” But then again if he’s an alien, Its only natural.

“You know, I was thinking of taking Goten for a walk. We can go together, if that suits you.” And voila! the formula is done and ready to be consumed by the hungry infant. She gives it a good shake and turns to face him, reaching for the baby. “I mean, I can help you at least find Gohan.”
