- the female lead is not dependant on the male lead at all, but get’s unconditional support from him - the male lead is not excessively mean or bad and doesn’t take a million years to admit he might like her, he just does and he likes her as she is and doesn’t try to put her in pretty clothes or some shit - the evil female counter lead doesn’t cling on the male lead till the very end and is pitiful, she get’s her shit together and moves on  - the second male lead is not the poor guy who didn’t get the female lead, he just happens to be a love interest that doesn’t feel the same way  - everyone ends up being happy in some way or another, but in a realistic way.. some fail at first and struggle, but they get something out of it - the happy end is not brought onto us like a sudden lightning strike after the leads try to get their shit together, it slowly leads to what we all wanted to see and could see coming - in a fun and cute way
