So we’re gonna ignore that I haven’t done the last two days,, I got busy and was fighting my acrylics to finish my Christmas gifts ehe

Today was so fun! I was working on this alllllll day. Plushies and sewing are some of the most fun concepts for characters to me, yet i don’t have many characters with those themes? Craaaazy. Anyways, here’s the little concept doodle next to og Pup! Definitely got changed along the way, i think i like the spool ears over antennas though lol

I’m not sure if i’ll do a full piece every day this week, but at the very least i plan to have a cleaned up sketch! Anyways, here’s Pup’s og design/colors with the cosmic Pup!

I first found Undertale a few months after it’s release through I think Jacksepticeye’s playthrough on youtube, and absolutely fell in love with it. The characters and their personalities captivated me and the world was absolutely inspiring. Undertale was also my first real look into the LGBTQ+ community through Undyne and Alphys, and in a way jumpstarted my own journey with my identity!

It was also the first major fandom i’d interacted with, which also meant it was the way I was introduced to fanfic lol X3. Being apart of that fandom when I was younger was an absolute journey, and I met some amazing people. One of which while I no longer talk to them, I still hold our time together closely to my heart. They gave me the opportunity to begin creating my own characters through us kinda playing dolls In their AU.

Even when I wasn’t actively participating in the fandom, Undertale itself has always stuck with me and still influences my personal stories to this day, a piece of me is always going to be tied to it.

On a slightly more serious note, Undertale is so important to me in the message of kindness. When I was younger and first was introduced, my childhood was very chaotic and a lot of the time it felt like everything was going to collapse around me. Just that simple message of being kind was so very important to me. It was something I didn’t see a lot in my household around that time, and so I was a very volatile child who wasn’t sure how to interact with others. That simple message of being kind to others leading to such connection stuck with me.

Even while I still struggle because of My upbringing, doing my best to be kind to others, even complete strangers, is something I try to do my best to strive for because of my introduction to this game.
