Back in Singapore, taken from a great day I spent with a relative I hadn’t seen in a long time. 

An amazing woman I had the opportunity of interviewing. She’s worked as a journalist in the middle east through some of the most tempered times in modern history, interviewing the likes of Saddam Hussein and more. She’s currently blacklisted for her work and no longer allowed to report journalism.

Was catching my cabs at this one bus stop most days and this young kid hailed one for me and translated to my driver where I needed to go. He didn’t ask for any money or anything, he just wanted me to take his portrait. A week after I left, there was a bombing at this same bus stop where this kid hangs out that killed around 30 people.
