I DECIDE THE TRUTH

○ Ok so no one cares about this (I do) but in Akechi's p5d(?) Swimsuit outfit there's a logo that spells "victory of honor."

○ I failed to find it in my more quality so I vectorized it :)

(I did find a redbubble sticker thing but it was OVBIOUSLY not the same fond smh.... It's CLEARLY an all caps geometric square sans🙄 not a regular sans for body text.... know your fonts people.....(<-art student with design courses voice))

the vectorization itself was pretty fast‚ 3min? The challenge was finding a similar font

○ ANYWAY. I digress. So I decided that VOH was a brand. And my mom introduced me into the concept of brand ambassadors some years ago(she's a big kpop fan) so I ALSO decided that akechi would be a VOH brand ambassador :3

○ To do this I decided to look at fashion magazines from/in japan in 2016 and oh my god. So much text. Kinda daunting.... and not many showed logos‚ so my next objective was ADS of perfume(something that usually showcases the name/logo of a brand) in fashion magazines in 2016.

And I stumbled across this listing of a special edition feb2016 spur magazine that showed a photo of the back‚ where there was a miumiu perfume ad with a cat and a woman(which I may redraw as ann and mona someday).

So I took the image‚ edited it to‚ well‚ not be a magazine lying on the floor with poor lighting(divide blending mode is my best friend) and drew akechi on top of the ad ^_^

○ I chose "unchained heart" as the fragrance name because of Akechi's “And so, your heart is always free. The exact opposite of mine.” line... it's meant to be a bit ironic

I also chose a slab serif to contrast the thinner line of the brand name and to match the more contundent aesthetic of the V.
