My first paid and published work was a comic titled Myth Conceptions (a title i swiped from a Robert Asprin book) about greek mythology. They appeared in the Pompeiiana Newsletter, a classics language newspaper with articles written in Latin, games, puzzles and even a comics page!  These were drawn when I has in high school and college 1992-1996.  The last few comics (“cops in olympus”) were never published.

a star wars fan comic i drew back in 1994.
I thought i had lost this, but i found Pocket Dungeon digging through some old sketchbooks.Â
this is the pocket version of the game me and my friend greg created in forth grade called DUNGEON. Â I wish i still had the full version of the game. Â i made a really extensive manuel of it with all the rules in detail, with illustrations and super hilarious role playing comic strips, but that was lost in the great purge of 1985. Â
Pocket Dungeon is kinda like a super pared down version travel version of that game. Â i think it made this version in junior high. Â Â
the neatest thing about the game was the torchlight method we developed to explore the dungeon. Â i tried to explain it in some quick diagrams

Â from left to right: Â psysurge (psionic abilities!), powerhouse (super strength!), Cheechie Chong (awesome ninja abilities, horrible name i know, i changed it later. the name was a joke. it's like cheech & chong. you got it right? horrible...), Â roamer (like shaman from alpha flight, but my "original" character!), nightblade the nearsighted ninja (lack of dexterity and coordination), mercury (super fast, can fly), strobe (light powers, no longer looks like dazzler), cats-eye (cat person from outer space!)
