Day 76 of sharing my daily art practice. Was going to practice some facial expressions today but then I realized the hardest part of that is to make a face look consistently the same and not like 4 different persons!

Day 75 of sharing my art progress. More work on improving my digital lineart. I find it much more difficult to draw hair on men than women, it just feels a lot less flowy and generally seems to have more sections with different lengths and textures.

Day 74 of sharing my art progress. After spending the last week with fineliners and pencils, back to digital. Bringing all that i learned about line weight with me - and what a difference this practice made!

Day 71 of sharing my art progress. More portraits, this time with pencil. Focus remains on getting proportions right.

Day 70 of sharing my art progress. Drawing more portraits from reference. Honestly, drawing with fineliners still freaks me out. Knowing that lines can't be erased immediately makes me tense! I'm still super happy with how these turned out.

Day 68 of sharing my art progress. Trying to draw faces from imagination again - why is this orders of magnitude harder than drawing from reference? Almost feels like an entirely separate skill that all the portrait practice barely helped with.

Day 67 of sharing my art progress. Digital portrait practice - trying to draw from the same reference multiple times, correcting mistakes and getting closer each time. Also now looking back noticing the difference between the first row when i first started the session and wasn't warmed up vs. the last one after drawing a few portraits.
