Everyone’s Brain 🧠 is unique
This is an unusual- unlikely to occur in life, example given to make things a little simple to grasp what I try to emphasize.
Concept: I and someone are looking at the letter “A”.
What a person sees and thinks : The letter A having colors on turning from red to purple- or vice versa. If the colors are their favorite, they may appreciate what they see. Feels content and energized unconsciously.
Me: (What I see) A series of thoughts: “If I disassemble the letter as there are 3 sticks. I can crate many other letters such as a Y,K,N,H,F and Z. So, I see all those letters in my mind when I look at letter.
Besides that I see other things such as Roman numerals like VI,IV,III,IX,XI and so on. I also see an arrow. I re-position them as up-down-left-right-crossing.” Anyways, all possible forms of the three sticks can pop up in my mind. I feel content and energized too due to my short-term mental activity.
The conversation between them and me:
Me: Isn’t it cool that you can form many other letters with one letter? You can also create various things like Roman numerals or arrows.
Person: What are you talking about? It’s just the letter “A” with its beautiful transitioning colors. Where are all those other stuff coming from?
Me: Oh! I was just trying to say... Nevermind. (Begins to feel depressed)
It’s obvious that I’m drawn to inductive reasoning and perceive things with that perspective, but that’s not my prior subject I’m trying to stress. It’s the difference between other people’s brain and mine in terms of perception.
My visual perception operates more complex than the majority’s.
Sought is focused in the example, however my 5 senses, in general, operate the same.
Why? When I look at something my brain gets activated with ideas and possibilities. Otherwise the physical existence of something doesn’t make an impact on me as much. I don’t feel stimulated like many.
I’m able to see so many other things, but the actual thing in front of me. This is a huge communication problem for me, which leaves the other person like “wtf”?
The example is absurd, I know, but think that this happens to me almost all the time regardless of the subject.
Not only does it occur in terms of visuals or anything concrete, I experience this while discussing a topic regarding a situation as well, which is abstract.
I’m capable of seeing the whole thing with many aspects at once- ok, it’s fabulous, but it causes me to lose focus and makes it hard for me when having conversations with others.
The overall conclusion : Everyone’s brain is unique.
