Hi! My name is Solstice, I go by Sol. This is my personal blog. I don't really know how to do intros so I guess I'll start simple.

Originally from Kanto but I don't live there anymore
I'm not technically a trainer. I mean, I have a companion pokemon so I guess by the general definition I'm a trainer, but I don't battle or collect gym badges. I just have the one bulbasaur, his name is Jasper, and he's mostly a companion/assistance pokemon.

I know a lot about ghost and dark types, but I also have a soft spot for fairy types (ignore that my only pokemon is a bulbasaur, he's the exception not the rule).
I am currently living in Galar.

My only official pokemon is my bulbasaur, Jasper, but I have a few ghost types that regularly hang around my property that I've given nicknames to so I figure I should mention them here.
Trix: a banette that started following my little brother around when he was in Heonn region, she followed him all the way to a new region when he visited me, and then she just never left
Jareth: a sableye that I found living in my attic about a year ago. Initially he caused a lot of problems by stealing my jewelry and even my glasses, but I've come to an agreement with him, and I gave him his own horde of shiny things so he stops taking mine.
Wirt: a lampent that just kinda hangs around. I didn't even notice him for a while because the little jerk stole my porch light and was posing as it for who knows how long. He's chill though, he likes when I sit on the porch and read books to him.
Camellia: the newest family member. A sinistea I found living in my cabinet a little while ago, seems to be chill
I would like to reiterate, none of them are MY pokemon. I have not captured them, they are free to come and go as they please

Man, it's been years, but sometimes I still stop and remember how much nicer it is living in Galar than Kanto. If only for the fact that I don't have to deal with Team Rocket every other day like I did when I was younger.
Also my parents don't live in Galar so that also helps.

They're at an all time high but they're still not more likely to be involved in a death than a starter species or a slight majority of any given normal type.

I guess there's the fact that apparently to a pokedex I register as an unknown ghost type. I learned this when my brother visited once and jokingly scanned me with his pokedex.
We thought it was just a weird glitch with his but the same thing has happened multiple times with other people's dexes, including my old one which I dug out of storage to test this.
Not particularly. I spend a bit of time outside in my garden and doing my groundskeeping duties for the cemetery, but I'm not necessarily going out and hiking or anything. In spring and fall, when the temperature is nicer, I will sit on my porch and read (Wirt, the lampent that lives on my porch likes when I do that).
Short answer, I'm not really doing much in the way of outdoor activities unless I have to. And even then, I tend to wait for cloudy days.
Any chance you can say something about your team that isn't just vague statements about completion or whatever? Right now it sounds like your about to try and sell us on your pyramid scheme.

The weird pokemon, which someone said was called Zamazenta, is back and is just staring at my house again. I still don't know if I should approach it or call someone.

I don't know, I gave nicknames to the ghost pokemon in my house, and I never caught them. Really they're more like roommates. The names just make conversation less awkward.
