summary: Your secret marriage to the captain of the 501st comes with many challenges.
Rex always fucks you like he’s trying to make up for lost time.
Three months is far too long to be away from you. Knowing you were waiting for him, knowing his wife was waiting for him — now that was the only thing that got him through this latest deployment.
So when the door to your apartment swishes open that night, he doesn’t say anything. He doesn’t need to. He just wraps you in his arms.
You barely manage to stumble back from the doorway before his mouth is on yours, a path of discarded armor leading the way to the refresher. He blindly reaches for the shower knobs, the small room quickly filling with steam.
He fucks you like he’s trying to memorize the feel of you — the way your cunt flexes and drips whenever he slowly rocks himself back and forth along your inner walls, along that sweet spot you love so much. The spot that has you biting his shoulder in pleasure, teetering right at the edge, leaving winding scratch marks on his back that he’ll have to explain away later.
“Fuck, I missed those sounds,” Rex groans, curling his fingers into your soft thighs as he spreads you even wider for him.
“Mmm, I don’t know what you’re talking about,” you whisper innocently, batting your wet lashes up at him, pretending to play coy when you know damn well what he’s doing to you.
His responding chuckle is husky and low. He secretly loves when you make him work for it, whenever you challenge and tease him instead. Because you’re too stubborn to admit he’s driving you crazy.
You slowly nod. He drags a calloused thumb across your bottom lip, plump from his hungry kisses, and leans in close to whisper in your ear.
“I think you know what I'm talking about, mesh’la. Don't you?” He tugs your lobe between his teeth, nuzzles the sensitive curve of your neck. “Those little sounds you make when you’re fighting not to come.”
Another roll of his hips has your fingers scrabbling into the short strands of his blond hair, tugging lightly at the roots.
A desperate, needy gasp escapes from your lips. “Rex, please, please—"
He gives you a knowing smirk, and that look alone is nearly enough to ruin you.
Warm droplets of water soak your intertwined bodies as he coaxes yet another orgasm out of you, telling you that “you’re such a good girl, you can take it,” while his fingers work your aching clit until you’re drenching his fingers, practicing everything he’s learned during the course of your short marriage. Slow and unhurried thrusts have your thighs quivering around his waist, an excruciatingly delicious torture that only he can deliver.
You relish in these stolen moments whenever you can. His kisses leaving marks where no one else could see. His tongue flicking across your aching nipples. His talented, strong fingers wringing every ounce of pleasure out of your trembling body.
Loving Rex is easy. It always has been. Keeping your marriage a secret, however — that is the hard part.
It means learning how to lie. Which is something you were never particularly great at, as his squad often reminded you.
While Rex towels off in the refresher, you tighten a robe around yourself and pad over to the front door, wondering who could possibly be knocking at this hour.
The door hisses open. Jesse and Fives are standing there in the threshold, a shit-eating grin plastered across both their faces.
“What are you two doing here this late?”
Fives elbows Jesse in the ribs.
“Oof—hey,” Jesse mutters, rubbing his side. “Have you seen the Captain anywhere? We had something to give him.”
He nods at Fives, who is doing an absolutely terrible job of hiding something behind his back.
“Nope,” you answer, a little too fast. “Probably back at the barracks.”
“Right,” Jesse says slowly, not believing you in the slightest. “Yeah, should've tried there.”
He looks ready to leave, but Fives doesn’t budge. He's always been more stubborn of the two. He’s determined to break you this time, locked in a silent battle of wills that you didn't sign up for tonight.
"Great. Goodnight boys." You hurriedly reach for the access panel.
“You know,” Fives casually begins, grabbing the door before you can shut it. “We were knocking for the past five minutes. Took you a long time to answer the door.”
“I was showering.” You gesture to your robe for added emphasis. "I wasn't expecting company this late."
They both look at each other and nod, some unspoken agreement passing between them that you're not privy to. Then they both peer into the apartment at the exact same time, nearly knocking you over in the process. Their eyes immediately land on the armor still scattered across the ground.
Their grins only widen. Victory at last.
Now it’s Jesse’s turn to elbow Fives. Hard.
“Anyways,” Fives starts to rush, shoving the mysterious item from behind his back straight into your hands. “We got Rex something. Figured you wouldn’t mind passing it along—”
“Run, Fives. Before Rex kills you.”
Before you manage to say another word, they bolt down the hallway like they’re running from a barrage of blaster fire.
“It’s a late wedding present!” Jesse shouts over his shoulder as they scramble around the corner. "Don't worry! Your secret is safe with us!"
Eyes widening in a mixture of shock and confusion, you slowly look down at what Fives shoved in your hands.
100 condoms, to be exact. One for each night you have been married.
From somewhere far, far away, faint cackling echoes down the hallway. And you only smile to yourself and shut the door.
