I’m not sure about most of these placements and by tomorrow I’ll probably disagree with most of the tier, lol. This was my criteria tho:
They should need to get close to Jax in the first place, that’s to say have a personality that Jax would actually like to be around. And given the people she WAS close with (Ribbit, Kaufmo, Pomni later on), then if you don’t have a strong character, can’t appreciate a good cartoony adventure with cartoony violence and can’t joke around like bros she wouldn’t be interested on being your friend, much less open up to you (and also, characters who would WANT to be around Jax, obviously, for example, no matter how smart and good at advice Espio is, if he doesn’t like Jax nothing would get anywhere)
The characters needs to be interested at all in helping, duh. For example, Bean and Jax could get along in adventures and have fun, but it’s not like Bean would be interested on having deep, important conversations and shit
They need to not back out the moment Jax immediately lashes out to create distance. That’s to say, Ribbit deciding to isolate herself vs Pomni beating the shit out of Jax to get some sense to her head, yk what I mean? They need to stick to Jax no matter what for anything to get done
And, ultimately, they need to be equipped to handle Jax’s unstable state of mind and have a good way with words to not accidentally say the wrong shit and fuck it up
And yes, I do believe 100% Rouge has the best shot at saving her. Oh also Jax’s trauma with her mother could NOT handle being around Vanilla
