I think one of my least favorite kinds of people in the Harry Potter fandom are the ones who give Lily shit for not hooking up with Snape and breaking of their friendship.
Like no.
Lily was not obligated whatsoever to reciprocate Snapeβs feelings.
It was not mandatory for her to keep Snape in her life.
Liking someone does not give you the right to that personβs heart.
No one has to explain why they cut someone they think is poisonous out of their lives.
If you honestly give Lily crap for this, you need to stay at least a continent away from me.
