This was one of her favorite things about summer, the heat. She padded out of her room, pulling her silk robe around her skinny body and walked down the stairs. Her mom was flicking her wand at the dishes, making them clean themselves. Marlene sat across from her moms new beau. She gave him a shrug and grabbed a glass of juice, taking a large gulp. “Just a couple more weeks left, Marlee.” her mom said, looking at her lovingly. “Starting your sixth year already!” her eyes were somewhat watery and Marlene flushed, looking away from both of them and staring at her glass.

Alecto collapsed to the floor, writhing in pain. It felt amazing; something she’d never experienced before. She almost began to giggle; and tears soon began flowing from her eyes. He lifted the curse after a few seconds, and Alecto propped herself up on her elbows, sweating. “Again.” She panted, laughing.
