As promised, I’m back from a long hiatus.
Let’s be honest here, I tried so hard for many years to “revive” my blog in the essence it once was, and failed numerous times. The lack of encouragement from others really got to me over the course of these last 4 years; exactly why there were sporadic posts throughout the years, but nothing solid or consistent.
Being the 1st Sneaker blog on Tumblr, was fun while it lasted. Even though the community through Tumblr I had (may or may not) still be here, I’m going to push myself to keep on with the posts. I gained a lot of long time friends through my blog/Tumblr community, and I learned a lot about myself and my passion. The style of my brand/blog has changed over time (because I, myself, has changed), but thats okay - it’s exactly what I wanted to happen.
VISIONARY - This word will become frequent in the vernacular usage of this blog. What does this exactly mean to SolefulSouls? To us, a Visionary is someone who has a passion and a drive to create a better future (to achieve their goals and endeavors), someone who loves what they do.
The new standpoint for Solefulsouls is to become an outlet for all creative “Visionaries” to express themselves by encouraging success and promoting creativity within various forms. I want to bring all the talented individuals out in the world, together. Artists of all forms - Sneakers, Art, Music, Fashion, etc.
I have a lot of ideas that I’ve been curating, I tend to over look them because I think they aren’t good enough to share. However, I’m trying to take my own advice- to share my ideas and thought process with others, because it can be something greater than I may think. SolefulSouls has become more to me than just a blog/brand/clothing line.. I’ve turned it into a creative outlet that I want to share with others.
Nonetheless, I will still be updating you all with sneaker related news and release info. After all, sneakers are the reason why SolefulSouls exists.
