While I lived in Granada, we would frequent this charming flamenco bar owned by an absolute treasure of a woman. She was so sweet, an angel who treated every customer there like extended family, while her actual family (sons, daughters, grandkids) either worked there or were doing homework on the closed off second floor.
She invited me and some of my family into her house one day for a coffee. She was GORGEOUS, and when she said she used to do modeling I was entirely unsurprised. She pulled down a big stack of papers and was flipping through old pictures to find examples. She paused on a specific one and started laughing.
'My boyfriend, he would draw me a lot. I posed for this when I was quite young. It's very sexy, I felt so beautiful,' and then brought out THIS PICTURE OF VAMPIRELLA by José González and the ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH USED AS REFERENCE
Juana de Haro you were a joy to meet and I still can't believe I stumbled into such an icon ❤️ as far as I know she is still doing incredibly well and looks amazing as ever. I wish I still had the version of the print she signed for me but it's been lost somewhere in the past decade-ish 🥲 devastating
