He’s asking her!? C’mon, man! Like she’s ever gonna disagree with freakin’ superman!!!

“ Y-yeah! Wait, I mean, no - Do you!?” words fly out in a jumbled mess, she is painfully aware of how awkward she sounds. She can feel her cheeks heating, embarrassed as she fights the urge to bury herself in the dirt until she feels normal again. Honestly, if this man told her to fly into the sun, she would do it, no questions asked.

Seeking her opinion… hers!? as if she had any idea what she was doing. So many conflicting feelings are being felt right now and she doesn’t know how to process them without making it ten times worse.

A mountain out of a molehill.

At least she can kinda pretend she has her shit together externally, whilst internally freaking out. Maybe this interaction wouldn’t be a total loss, and when she finally gets over this ‘ starstruck fangirl - stage ‘ she might even be able to talk to him like a normal person! ever the optimist.

Slurping loudly on her noodles for a brief second, eyes skyward in brief thought. She scratches the back of her head with the same fork thats just been in her mouth. That sounded less encouraging than it meant to be, but hey! at least she’s relatable … right?

“Do you think we need therapy? Psshhh — nah.”

“Nuh-uh, nobody hurts my friends. Especially… my friends.” In her opinion, self-sabotage was the best kind of sabotage. The only person who got hurt was you. That was fine when you applied that logic to Samantha only, but hearing it from the super-cool Flambae? Unacceptable.

“But I’ll therapy you about it later.” Right now, she had some harmless revenge to dish out. Flambae had been one of the only people not sabotaging his team in the hopes of wracking up those sweet, sweet points so they could stay. It wasn’t her business, but if you’re going to fight, at least make it a fair one.

“Keep doin’ your thing, hot stuff. I’ll make sure nobody bothers you from now on, ‘kay?”
