Is there any like other teenagers studying rn that are really into it not because they want to get good grades and because their into like obsessively passing exams but because they actually like enjoy studying for exams and learning things and doing subjects and studying and stuff and I strive for it cause of that

I personally always say I study not to pass exams but to learn and educate myself about the world around me

NO EXACTLY i want acedemic friends so badly but everyone seems like their doing it just to pass and I'm like what about enjoying understanding the inner workings of our universe where are those ppl I want friends 💔

Just watched supergirl and oh my god i am so obssed with the fact that we have a female main character and shes sloppy and snippy and rude and an alcoholic and messy and flawed. And yet shes still able to be kind and good and be an inspiration to people. All while not having a romance and while not trying to appeal to anyone. This is what everything should be.

I just love how Supergirl isn't really about the revenge or the dog or anything that goes on at all. Its about two grieving girls trying to keep going in diffrent ways and teaching each other how to survive with the weight of it all while also inspiring each other to be better people. Its about not letting your past overtake your future. Its about prioritizing yourself instead of being fuled by your trauma. Its about being good no matter what.

I related to Kara so much in Supergirl, gods, that was such an amazing movie. WOOO!! Holy shit I had so much fun!! Fucking fight me, you shitfucks!!

Of course they don’t like Milly Alcock’s Supergirl. She’s a grown ass woman with zero love interests who spends the movie saving her dog, casually dismantling a sex trafficking ring while she’s at it, and preaching the importance of being good, not nice or smiley or cheerful but good. I for one adored the movie and I really hope I’ll get to see more of Alcock’s Supergirl she’s now my favorite iteration of her and I love her so dearly.

Ofcourse they didn't like the song and the end it was about a grown woman who had lost her entire society forced to be a refuege on earth in America that drinks her life away because she can't handle the grief telling another little girl who just lost her family searching for violence and revenge and vengeance that. No. Slow down. It's going to be okay. This isn't the be all end all of your life your 13. Your in the middle it your life your going to make it and do great things. It's okay.

A thing I really appreciate about supergirl is that Kara is never shown to be pretty. Yeha she is pretty regardless because they casted milly fucking alcock but the never show her to be put together. They let her be messy. They let her be rude. They let her fuck up. Every time we see strong confident women in media they are always wearing the tightest bodysuit and look beautiful even when they have been beaten to shit. Not here. Every scene Kara is in she looks like a car had run over her. And they don't "transform" her and make her look prettier by the end to show that she has started to heal. Nah they keep her like that and they change how she acts. I love supergirl.

Rei being the attack master is so fucking funny to me because what do you mean you got this game so that you could help your crush in it and you made yourself like an 8ft tall man and wear the most insane armor you can find and also wipe enemies off the face of the earth at an atomic level due to your strength

The way that Sunraku keeps switching between using he/him to they/them to SOMETIMES she/her for Rei kills me every time he is so lost
