I cannot take anyone who calls the Volturi oppressive seriously. They enforce exactly one law: don't reveal yourself to humans. From the Cullens perspective, this is occasionally a problem because they live around humans and would prefer not to turn people. But let's acknowledge that most vampires aren't the Cullens. If the Volturi fall, the Cullens might be glad that they don't have to hide anymore. Every single non-vegetarian vampire is going to go around massacring towns because there is no longer anyone to stop them, and given how overpowered twipires are, civilization would only last another few years. The Volturi are only oppressive if someone wants to commit large massacres and turn uncontrollable children.

I love how in nuwho the Doctor always looks horrified during the Master reveal while in classic who the Doctor just be like "ah shit here we go again"

The Spymaster constantly leaning down to remain on the Doctor's eye level, even kneeling to continue on a conversation with her, is such a fascinating part of his and the Doctor's relationship but it's also soooo funny. Man is finally taller than his ex but now it's Weird so he has to keep on bending down to not be above her eye level.
