The good news is that you aren’t (and never will be) going backwards. You’ll never undo your progress or unlearn the good things you took so long to discover. Everything, even failure or a mistake or a wrong decision, is progress: if you don’t succeed immediately, you learn and if necessary you learn the same lesson again. Whichever one it is, however much it hurts, you’re moving forward.

honestly you shouldn’t feel guilty or ashamed or embarrassed for leaving a hobby behind or for picking up a new one. hobbies are supposed to be fun. you’re supposed to be doing it for your own sake. do what brings you happiness and quit what doesn’t. live your life

life is for taking therapeutic walks and being in your own bubble and reading books in bed and drinking iced beverages and eating fruit and gaining new experiences and dozing in sunlight and finding love in everything and not letting guilt consume your life actually
