Qalane!

If I'm completely honest, I was going to completely start over. Then something told me to trust the process... And I'm really glad I did.

I feel like I've been unlocking levels to my artistic process, ngl.

Here's the sketch + the last Qalane drawing. The last Qalane drawing was done around the same time as Wilmington's old drawing, maybe a day or two after.

I am honestly quite embarrassed by it, ngl. It looks awful, lol.

I tend to have an awful time drawing actual smiles, rather than lopsided smirks. So, I'm pretty proud of how Qalane's smile came out.

Just learned how well I can render skin.

This of my book character, Wilmington. The book is going to be my eventual debut novel.

Going to draw his boyfriend, Qalane, next. See how well I can render a person of colour as well.

Oh, and this was my last drawing of Wilmington before my 33 day long break. Drawn June 22nd.

Honestly, my newest drawing of Wilmington is exactly the kind of art piece younger me would have loved to call her own ( back before I was trans, lol ). I still can't believe I can do this.

Not very proud of the hands, but that's something I can work on.

Tord decided to try and play Tom's bass, and a string may or may not have been broken, may or may not have been on purpose.

Finally drew Tord in my new style.

I even tried a more "realistic" eye colouring type deal. I am enjoying art a lot.

I also found a new way to do line art, aka colour blocking then subtracting, rinse and repeat. I tested it out in my last post.

This was made based on a sketch frame of an animation I'm working on. 👍

Eddsworld OC.

They're either Konrad or Katarzyna, depending on if he's male, female, pre-tranisition, cis or whatever. Depends on the AU.

This is just the main design. Normally he is trans, so, yeah.

Changed his nose 'cause I did not like the original one.

I find it interesting that a few weeks ago I was drawing in a completely different style, but now I can't not draw chibis.

Thank you all so much for the love on my work recently! I'm working on some more Eddsworld art, such as the main boys with their favourite items, along with art of my favourite ships.

Finally finished! I love it, ngl.

Considering, a week or two ago, I was afraid I was going into a permanent art block. I wasn't enjoying drawing anymore, I rarely ever had the energy or patience to make actually good art. I would nit pick every piece of art I made, which definitely didn't help.

But here I am!

Anyways, thanks for the attention on my last post! I haven't done any proper coloured pencil art in like- four years.

I showed this to my grandma, and her voice got so loud as she praised me. I surprised her, lol. Made me squeal with delight ( I do that when I'm particularly excited or happy ).

WTFuture Eddsworld FTW!!

So, WIP of WTFuture Eddsworld. I love this drawing, ngl. I did not realize how much making Eddsworld fanart was going to make me love drawing again.

Literally a few days ago, I was worried that I may be permanently burning out, so that seems like it might not be happening ( knock on wood. )
