So Just Sit Back

So I saw Megamind for the first time tonight (yes, I'm very late to the party). Great movie. My husband loves it so much that he avoiding rewatching it just so he could forget some of the details. 😂

Anyway, the main thing I wanted to talk about. Megamind is basically Mr. Darcy.

Hear me out.

They both were seen as 'villains' (I use that loosely to refer to Mr. Darcy. I know he wasn't actually a villain, just veryyy awkward). But they were both redeemed in the end, not by the love of a woman but the fact that a woman called them out on their bs and they didn't do the toxic man thing and make it out that they were the nice guys and women just suck. They were actually introspective and actively tried to better themselves.

And that's how they got the girl.

They didn't change for her but because of her.
