Let’s face it, when it comes to fast food there are really no healthy choices you can make. But life happens and sometimes no matter how much you try to avoid it fast food is your only option. As a (broke) college student, I deal with this a lot.
So here are some options at our major fast-food locals that are under 400 calories! There’s more than you think so keep reading under the cut!

McDonald’s:
6-Piece McNuggets – 270 calories (4-piece – 180 calories)
3-piece Chicken Tenders – 370 calories
Asian Salad w Grilled Chicken – 270 calories (no chicken – 140 calories)
Southwest Salad w Grilled Chicken – 350 calories (no chicken – 220 calories)
Grilled Chicken Sandwich – 380 calories
McChicken – 370 calories
Egg McMuffin – 300 calories (Egg WHITE McMuffin – 260 calories)
1 Cheeseburger – 300 calories (no cheese – 250 calories)

This one is tricky because it’s so personalized. So:
Veggie Delite Salad [whatever veggies you want + sweet onion sauce] – 60 cals
-> if you want, add some protein! Just add in the extra cals.
My typical “bad-breath salad” [tuna, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and sweet onion sauce] – 310 calories
Panda Express:
