i know it reads like it’s the party line about conservatives from a liberal side but to me, tbh, it’s more about talking about the internal civil war on the liberal side, maybe specifically on tumblr. kind of dark humor, ya get me? 

cause that “war” is all about whiny childish people slapping academic-ish names on - on all sides - in order to seem justified in feeling good about themselves at the expense of others, cause they don’t have the guts or have the ability to fight real physical wars and achieve real things with their time

And hey, exclusionism and the people who practice it is a very real part of literal war, because that’s literally what propaganda does - excludes, dehumanizes, makes it easier for people to commit war crimes, rape, assault, tear down and shatter, and that’s all perfectly okay because they’re not “to our level”, they’re not “human”, they don’t deserve good things anyway because they’re “not like us”.

The justifications you’re bringing up, the accusations you’re levelling against me - that’s all you projecting. I do actually find it really funny, the stuff that you’re saying, because there’s no rationality in your replies. Just knee-jerking, like you’ve got nothing to stand on, just an emotional appeal and a truly, thoroughly, pathetic attempt at trying to call out somebody. Are you having fun? I am.

And…you know, there’s nuance in exclusionist beliefs too, I recognize that. But if you wanna generalize and simplify your own tribe…go right on ahead. ok, so let’s keep it simple according to the definition you gave. This is my view:

exclusionists = people who pick on a minority, i.e. people looking for validation that they’re welcome, a safe space with safe people, within the LGBT alliance. So basically a minority of a minority. Therefore people who pick on a minority of a minority while being a minority themselves.

spreading propaganda = literally telling people that they’re not welcome, making fun of them, making them feel hurt, spreading the manifesto that’s “you are only welcome inside the alliance if you are X, because what you are doesn’t exist or belong here.”

literally oppress = denying them a safe space. reaching out to unaffiliated people just to tell them that who they are and what they believe is so bad they need to die. hounding them over and over. forcing them toward suicide. isn’t that oppression? does it need to progress to genuine, physical, violence?  

"spreading propaganda = literally telling people that they're not welcome" no hon, that's just stating facts. if it was a community for everyone it'd be called the human community or some shit. this community is specifically for lesbian, gay, bi and trans people. by letting cishets in you're defeating the purpose of the community. and even if it was just an opinion, that's still not what propaganda means. "information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view." that's the definition. telling people your opinion about your own oppressed community ain't propaganda

"making fun of them, making them feel hurt" no one sensible is making fun of individual aro/aces for being aro/ace. and 99% of the time they're hurt because they're told cishets aren't lgbt

"you are only welcome inside the alliance if you are X" how is that not a logical conclusion to you? you are only welcome in lgbt spaces if you're lgbt, just like you are only welcome in jewish spaces if you're jewish. this isn't some fun club that's open to everyone, it's a community for specific, oppressed identities

"what you are doesn't exist or belong here" again, no one sensible is saying asexuality/aromanticism doesn't exist. we're well aware it's a valid and natural part of a person. but it doesn't make someone lgbt

"literally oppress = denying them a safe space" 1. not what oppression means. to be able to oppress, you need to be part of a privileged group, like men or white people. lgbt people aren't oppressors for keeping their own community a safe space from cishets. 2. a huge majority of us agree they should start their own separate community with their own resources. they just literally don't fit the criteria for ours, and so we aren't obligated in any way to provide our resources to them

"reaching out to unaffiliated people just to tell them that who they are and what they believe is so bad they need to die. hounding them over and over. forcing them toward suicide" once again, no one that the rest of us support says that aro/aces should die for being aro/ace, or even that inclusionists should die. you know what did happen? i personally got an anon telling me to get raped right after i said cishets aren't lgbt. a lesbian of color got doxxed on stormfront by inclusionists after saying acephobia isn't real. an inclusionist told a school shooting survivor they deserved it for "being an aphobe" and refused to donate money that'd go to the families of the deceased
