āY/n dear, could you please go to Severus and get Remusā potion for today?ā You gave your coworker Minerva a forced smile and was ready to make your way over to Snapeās office when you realized something. You spun on your heel and faced McGonagall. āI was wondering though, why is it always me that needs to get Remusā potion? I thought he always had a free period at this hour?ā You questioned.
āThat is true, yes. You know how me and Dumbledore find it very important that all the staff gets along? We thought that you and Severus could use some time together to, well- start getting a liking towards eachother.ā

āYou are unbelievable. I donāt get why Dumbledore gave you a job here.ā
āNo one seems to have a problem with me apart from you.ā He smirked and he was right. No single teacher, not even Hagrid or Remus seemed to have a problem with him. It was just you.
āGet that stupid smile off of your face and just hand me the potion.ā You demanded and he obeyed. He took the potion from the shells and his slender, but gentle fingers swiped against yours while taking the Wolfsbane Potion from his hand. As you opened the classroom door to leave, Dumbledore and McGonnagal quickly found a place to hide after overhearing the conversation you just had with Snape.
āThose two definitely need more than some five minute meet ups every month.ā Dumbledore spoke and McGonnogal wholeheartedly agreed.
About a week later you were waiting in the cold for your house students and the Slytherin students to gather at the Entrance Gate for the Hogsmeade weekend trip. A special one this time since only y/h and Slytherin would go this weekend and the other two houses on the following.
A cold breaze was going through your hair and snowflakes were falling on your thin shirt sleeves. Of course you forgot your coat in your chamber

āWe donāt agree on much-ā, he started. ābut I think we can both agree on how stupid this is.ā You quickly nodded your head, it really was a stupid idea. Why not go with all houses like always? And why Slytherin and y/h? Itās not like they have that many classes together anyway.
Even though Hogsmeade was basically around the corner, your feet still hurt with every step that you were taking through the thick snow. Snape was eyeing you as you two were slouching behind the students that were excitedly strolling and talking.
āCan you stop looking at me?ā You huffed as you were trying to keep yourself warm by rubbing your hands and blowing on them. āI was just observing your new technique of replacing a coat.ā
āItās not like I wouldāve done this if I had my coat with me. I just forgot about it. The walk to Hogsmeade was better than you predicted. You expected to either be bickering about everything with him or there would be a deadly silence. There was silent, but it was a nice and comfortable one. You two walked in a pleasant rhythm while enjoying the view of the snow covered mountains and the breathtaking sunset. You didnāt have to tell eachother about how pretty it was or about how comfortable the trip was. You both just knew you felt the same.
āThis way!ā You led the students to the small motel you would be staying at for the night. After everyone made their way to their rooms, you and Snape made your way to find yours. Snape quickly found an empty room for him to stay in but it was impossible for you to find one empty.

āOne thing hasnāt changed though, youāre still just as handsome as I thought you were back then.ā You dināt know why you said it but the words just came out of your mouth.
āI, uhm-ā you were about to apologize when Snape put the back of his hand on your cheeck and slowly slid down, holding your chin between his fingers.
