I love how Matt's instinctive DM poker face doesn't really show a reaction to this scene, while Liam's eyes already say EVERYTHING.

Also, I love the way Jasmine and Alexander played their relationship. Boss/bodyguard, adoptive mother/adopted son, whatever.

I hope Alex talks, on Cooldown on in an interview or anywhere (haven't gotten there yet, but I'll be looking) about what he was feeling or thinking when he read the item card for the orb.
