"they bicker like old married couple, their clashing personalities provide hilarious dialogue, they give you one of the best armors in the game and they're back to help you in vigils keep"

"two men who are very good at making everything sound unserious right up until it suddenly isn’t. zevran goes into romance assuming his life is just going to be “shallow encounters and jobs to be completed,” and dorian does his own version of the same thing by acting like he can just be “a port in a storm” or “an adornment upon your arm” and keep the actual stakes at a distance. they’d flirt like it was second nature, obviously, but the part i’m actually interested in is the point where that stops working. because neither of them is really built for clean, low-stakes attachment once he actually cares."

"i just think this would be a ridiculously good time until it suddenly became a real problem for both of them. zevran is the kind of man who’d hear “i’m too pretty to die” and be like okay yes, finally, someone speaking my language, and dorian would absolutely enjoy having somebody around who can keep up with him instead of just staring. but zevran also has that whole hidden sincerity thing once he falls, and dorian is way more earnest under the attitude than he likes admitting, so the ship wouldn’t stay light for long. which is exactly why i like it."
