Robin had never really been much of a heavy sleeper, especially not since moving to whatever piece of shit she now called home, in whatever piece of shit neighborhood she had found. But she had gotten more and more used to sleeping through the constant window breaking and chatter from the street below, at one point apparently even managing to sleep through a shootout. However, the sound of the window breaking in her apartment, in her bedroom, was enough for her to bolt straight up. Her hands quickly finding the gun and the flashlight hidden underneath the bed. As mentioned….This wasn’t exactly the friendliest of neighborhoods and it was not like the cops had managed to find all of her belongings anyway. Almost tangling herself in the bedsheets when scurrying to a standing position she found a good enough foothold to point her gun and the shitty dollar-store flashlight at the broken window, the shitty LED’s flickered slightly before barely illuminating the small room and the shape standing in the mist of her chaos. It took her one second to notice it was a male standing there and that he wasn’t moving or seemed to be doing anything remotely aggressive, it took her another second to realize she knew him, and a third before realizing just how well she had known him, and the fact that she was pointing a gun at him. “Holy shit! Javier?” She lowered the gun.
