Today is going to be a long night!!!

I feel a little anxious for the UCAT even though the exam is a year away. Tonight I’m beginning to up my study routine for it and it just feels so real. But my company is green tea and I’m thankful for the little ease it gives me.

Loving my white and wood things. This is me trying out a hobby before I get really busy with uni.

Anyway, I am still waiting for the process of my transfer (to another program). Hopefully, they will finish processing it so I can get on with my enrollment.

100 Days of Productivity - Day 28

Doing analytical work on The Handmaid's Tale is super interesting. My teacher was talking about how writing is art and Atwood's work certainly is. I read a critical analysis by Adi Robertson which really struck me, there was a sentence along the lines of.. 'we've tricked ourselves into believing that the egalitarian system we've established where women are grudgingly tolerated is proof that we've already achieved equality.' (paraphrased, obviously)

She wrote about how women make up 50% of the population and yet, allowing them 30% speaking time in movies instead of 17% would be considered a matriarchal hell for a lot of people. Anyway, the novel's given me a lot to think about and I'm tempted to just spend all night reading about it but I CAN'T.

100 Days of Productivity - Day 29

Been putting up some ~room decor~ aka a ton of paint samples I hoarded from Bunnings. Things are feeling a little hectic this week since I can't study on Thursday bc of family stuff but I have teo assessments on Friday.

The stress cravings are really kicking in and I'm trying to replace them with healthy foods. Unfortunately that was he surest mandarin I've ever had in my entire life.🍊

I've been watching a lot of Merve's study with me videos on YouTube and they're really helping me stay on task (except obviously when JK went live at 12am and I dropped everything for him)

In other news I haven't used blue pen in a while and I can't tell if I like it or not yet. Chemistry is slowly taking over my entire life and I hate it. Also the coffee stains are just part of ~the aesthetic~

today marks the start of uni year 2 sem 1 term 1 and i'm kinda lowkey stressed but excited too! today we had our first coding (of the term) and i'm rlly glad to have this professor teaching me. she was rlly detailed and logical in her explanations, which makes the python learning process so much easier.

did my post seminar review and i must say that the extra effort has helped me to better recall almost all of the things that were taught today. i merged my lesson, slides and study guide notes together, so yay! i'm actl redoing my seminar 1 coding exercises to make sure i really remember, so 😄 guess it's not exactly an early night again!

i have class again tmr, so i'm off to finish coding and continue pre-lesson prep. see u guys tmr! ❤️💛
