i like how many things make me happy and how easy it is sometimes. i like going out with friends and partners and we do something and sometimes its not the most exciting thing but by golly i love it. you could show me some leaves on the ground or some critters under a rock or a little tune you wrote and i think i'd be pleased all the same. i love humans and the earth and everything on it.

able bodied people love to forget that they're only temporarily able bodied. everyone, unless they die early for whatever reason, will become disabled in some way. you're not invincible. you're not "doing something right" that the rest of us failed at. time is coming for you. everyone becomes disabled eventually.

sometimes you just have to peel the entire skin off your lips because self-care
