so did job all days​

But the angel of the Lord came down into the furnace where Azariah and his companions had been cast.

He drove the fiery flames out of the furnace and made the inside of the furnace as though a dewy breeze was wafting through it.

The fire did not touch them in the least way and caused them no pain or harm.

Daniel 3: 49-50

"but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord" Joshua 24: 15

Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob and had sent him to Paddan-aram to find a wife, and that when he had blessed him, he had commanded him,

“You must not take a wife from among the Canaanites.”

Jacob obeyed his father and mother and left for Paddan-aram.

Genesis 28: 6-7

The men said to her,

“We will not be bound to the promise that you made us swear unless, when we enter the land, you have a scarlet cord tied to the window from which you let us down,

and unless you have brought your father, and your mother, and your brothers, and all of your father’s household into your house.

Joshua 2: 17-18

They instructed the Benjaminites,

“Go, lie in wait in the vineyards and stay on watch.

When the young women of Shiloh come out dancing, rise up out of the vineyards and each man can seize a wife for himself from the young women of Shiloh, and then return to Benjamin.

This is what the Benjaminites did.

Each man took a wife for himself from among the young women who were dancing.

They then went and returned to their inheritance, rebuilding the cities and dwelling in them

Judges 21: 20-21,23

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant searching for fine pearls.

When he found one of great value, he went off and sold everything he had and bought it.

Mt. 13: 45-46

He will put on justice as a breastplate,     and wear an infallible judgment as a helmet.

 He will take invincible holiness as a shield  and sharpen unrelenting wrath for a sword,

and the whole world will unite with him to fight against the reckless.
