this tape mostly was a mix between some cool punk shit and what i thought were like, decent deep-cuts from my own music collection. aka, this tracklist goes everywhere in terms of genre, which is fun.

this is also like one of only a couple of the tapes that don't include a commissioned music track, cuz i ended up making them both myself (and you can definitely tell lmao). still, i think this tape as a whole came out very nicely.

the interstitial radio play thingy: this one was fun, i got @cooper-blogs on for the bits at the end and she gave a rly funny performance, she did great! i think could've done better though, but like, its whatever.

another tape that had a very grab-bag like mix of tunes in the playlist! this one dips between hip-hop and folk a lot, i like it :) (id listen to my own copy in the car if my voice wasnt in it ngl) anyway the production was clean on this, @21stcenturyschizoidcat did a fuckin. excellent job with the main theme in this, its so authentic sounding, i love it.

the interstitial radio play thingy: (this is absolutely the goofiest one by far, my throat was hurtin after doin that announcer voice)

ough,, this mixtape was really fun. and also like really weird in terms of production, cuz like, i commissioned a lovely spacey track from @zzzajac that had to go unused (but if zajac ever posts it i insist you go listen to it, its ridiculously fun.) so i ended up commissioning an extra track from @/pletzelstein instead to finish the comp up (which they have some. weird shit goin on according to like one tumblr user i guess like idk, i nearly got scammed by them but thats like a whole thing.) but anyway idk i ended up using that for just like a backing track put through some filters. what i actually ended up doing was i reused a track made by @21stcenturyschizoidcat thats like. SUPER good for the ending bit. i think it came out very beautifully :] theyve got excellent guitar chops.

anyway the main vibe of the tracklist is mostly electronic and 2010s pop type stuff, which definitely fits the space odyssey vibe that the interstitial story goes for. its awesome

this one was fun, the tracklist itself was meant to be something of a mixing pot of all sorts of weird stuff i like. i think theres some fun beats here for sure. the interstitial bits i did were themed around covering a new woodstock concert with a news crew, that turned out to be a cover for a cult creating zombie hippies! no one survives. this tape didnt have any extra voices workin on it, but @zzzajac did a sick as fuck track for it that i'll let them upload on their own, whenever they end up wantin to.

(sidenote, the tapes were made to release in 2024, but since i had to push back until after christmas of that year, the label says 2025.)
