Only the good days are posted on our socials. Everyone wants to see those, but what about the bad days?

The days where your in so much pain that you sit in hot baths for hours trying to sooth your aching muscles and joints unsure whether it's the potion they pump in you or the disease that's eating away at your body spreading. When just pain killers aren't enough.

It's days like this where the happy, positive person who is 'handling this so well' is extremely hard to find.

Getting cancer young is always rubbish, I was in that awkward time of becoming an adult and figuring out renting, insurance, council tax etc after university as well as (trying) to start a career. Life insurance was the last thing on my mind.

My hopes with this is it gives Abbie a steady backing to keep our mortgaged home (or help towards) and be able to not worry too much when I'm gone while she finds her feet in this big scary world on her own. University sweethearts do become slightly codependent as they learn to adult after all.

Anyway, whether I last a few months or a few years with this **** disease, I'd like to at least leave one solid thing right. Please like and share and spread it around.
