Hungry:Â
If your body is asking for food, the hunger will gradually develop. Emotional hunger is a response to some sort of negative experience or feeling and is usually more of a sudden onset of a craving for a specific food. With emotional hunger you will also feel the need to eat immediately. If youâre still not sure, wait a few minutes and see what happens. As you do this more and more it will become easier for you to distinguish between the two.
Angry:
One thing that can help with anger is feeling a sense of power. Things like running, dancing, or other strong physical activities are a great way to get that energy out of your body. Depending on what works for you- you may also want to try something more calming. Slow down, let your mind relax⌠sometimes that can help you to organize your thoughts which may bring on the realization that whatever your angry about isnât all that bad or is something you can work on by staying focused. Donât forget to address your anger. None of this means to disregard it, push it back, or try to completely forget about it. You canât bottle these things up inside. What you want to do is calm yourself, release that negative energy, and organize your thoughts so you can handle the anger in a safe and effective way.
Lonely:
If youâre lonely, reach out to someone. Text, phone, video chat, in person. Even just going outside for a walk or going to a coffee shop with your laptop. You donât always have to be directly socializing with people as long as youâre around them. Short term loneliness is sometimes alleviated by simply being in the presence of other people.
Tired:
If youâre tired, take a look at your schedule. Are you overworking yourself? You may need to make set times within your schedule to take a break. Scheduling breaks may sound weird⌠but you need it. Donât burn yourself out. Donât take on more than you can handle. Also take a look at your sleep schedule. Are you getting the rest you need? Maybe you need to set an earlier time to get to bed in order to wake up feeling refreshed. Your body will thank you. The last thing is that you canât be afraid take time for yourself or say no to things.Â

Hi, I know this isn't your usual kind of topic to discuss. But you seem like a really nice person who does all they can to help someone who needs it. And I'm desperate. I have been a recovering anorexic for a few months until a couple of weeks ago when I relapsed really hard. Ever since anxieties I had around 3 months ago have suddenly reappeared. I'm scared to sleep on my own, in the dark, I'm scared that I'm going to die. I'm scared of everything. I'm currently laid in bed. Desperate. Help?
Please, please, PLEASE seek help. Unfortunately we donât have much advice, but what we can do is provide hotlines and help websites. Please use them, call the numbers, anorexia can be deadly.

Hello :) one time at rehearsal they had me sing my character's song. I bailed barely halfway through. My throat closed, and I was shaking. I sat back with my friends, and I couldn't speak in more than a whisper. This is just a recent example of a freak out. Just little things set me off such as what I should wear. I get so panicked that I feel my chest tighten, and I get violently frustrated. It's extremely hard to completely calm down. I don't want this to always happen. Advice?
Hmm...if possible, definitely talk to your doctor. In this case I unfortunately donât have much advice, it sounds like severe stage fright on top of really bad anxiety. Besides that, find situations that make you anxious, but not TOO anxious and try to face them head-on. The reason why they shouldnât be too anxious-inducing is so that it isnât too hard to face them. But the idea is you make your comfort zone bigger.

Hello! We now have messanger! By all means, feel free to message us at any time! I will say, though, itâll mostly just be me(Cindy) answering. This is just because I stupidly made it a main blog so we wouldnât be able to have the multiple owners that I meant. Apologies for that, but hey! Messanger!
Also, weâll be starting up answering questions real soon. I just managed to buy the rest of the stuff needed for the new place. So once itâs all unboxed, and everythingâs cleaned, as that means things can finally settle down.

To everyone in Paris:
Stay safe, seek shelter. I wish you all the best. Please do whatever you can to stay safe.
Sorry! I just got internet today! I wonât be able to reply for a few more days though as thereâs still furniture to move in, and things are super busy as I settle in to my new place!

Hi~! Cindy here! I just wannaâ say that I wonât be around next weekend, Iâm sorry! But itâs because Iâll be moving out of my abusive familyâs house...FINALLY! YAY! So nothing will be made a little bit before and after that weekend, and once weâre settled in with internet, Iâll start back up. :)
Hi there! Uh, I never went out with my classmates and I grew up w/out people around me, only with my mom for 10 years. So I'm not used to be around people. Any advice on how to adjust in society and get along with people? Because I am not really used on how to do it. I don't want to stand out being always alone everywhere because I really do... I just started college and its been 2 months and I haven't adjusted yet because I am so socially awkward and I don't know how to handle people.
Hm...something you can do is people watch. Basically, sit down somewhere open, like maybe a main campus area with benches and watch how various people interact with each other. Maybe have a notebook and write down basic things, donât go too in-depth. It shouldnât be seen as creepy by others, just because it looks like youâre writing notes, but try some various things you see, figure out what works best for you, and keep working at it!
Learning social skills can be just as hard as any other skill to learn, mistakes will be made, just be sure to get back up, dust yourself off, and learn from the mistake.
Best of luck!

I have social anxiety and I get very bad anxiety when around authority figures; i.e MY MATH TEACHER. I literally can't make eye contact with him, I can barely look at him, and I wouldn't talk to him if my life depended on it. This makes asking questions impossible and I'm sure I'll fail the class... Advice?
Me too! What Iâve been doing to help is try and force myself in to a situation where I have to. Itâs exposure therapy. Itâs not usually good to have it forced on you or without supervision from a therapist, so if you donât wannaâ try that method, thatâs okay!
Another way you can go about it is if they allow you to email your teacher. If they do, and thatâs easier for you, Iâd totally send them an email asking if they could help explain things. Maybe explain that youâre afraid of authority figure, etc, to kind of help. They may be understanding.
Do you have a snapchat or kik to talk privately?
I unfortunately do not. I could never figure them out. I have facebook, tumblr, and email. Will any of those work?

***URGENT*** People have been posting lots of real life gore in popular tags, can you tell your followers not to look there if they get triggered by that. Thanks! -Dice
Super important that everyone sees this! Be careful for now in tags, stay safe.
If I ask for advice on anon can you respond to the message privately?
Of course! You just have to say something like âPlease answer privatelyâ(Doesnât have to be exactly that) and be off anon. :)
