First of all, thank you for your kind words. It always feels so good to receive messages like this early in the morning, especially when the day ahead is going to be pretty crappy.

As for my inspirations for Lily, I’ll admit I wasn’t familiar with Alexis Blender. I looked it up on Google, and I get the vision, I can totally see what you mean.

When it comes to how I imagine Lily, I draw inspiration from everywhere. I’ve been working on her character for a few months now (actually, a few years 😅) and over time, I think I’ve really started to figure out how I see her. I’ve fumbled around with a lot of details, but now it’s getting easier and more automatic, I feel.

So, as for my inspirations, I pull from all over the place. I’m very inspired by what I read, in fics mostly. Visually, I might take a mouth from here, eyes from there... So it’s a bit hard to say if I have one specific person in mind when I paint her. That’s kind of how it works for me.
