I want to be alone and I want people to notice me - both at the same time.

Lane Bryant has enlisted actresses Danielle Brooks and Gabourey Sidibe in the brandâs powerfully simple new ad, aptly called #ThisBody Is Made To Shine.
Actresses were there to inspire women of bigger sizes not be ashamed of their bodies. The point of the campaign, according to a release from the brand, is to âspotlight what it means to unapologetically celebrate themselves in spite of any adverse feelings or feedback.â
These beautiful Black ladies show us how to stay confident with our bodies no matter how we look. Women are always targets of standard beauty propaganda and whitewashing and have troubles loving their natural appearance. This picture is saying LOVE yourself no matter what flaws you have.

The OneOrlandoFund, established after the gun tragedy in Orlandoâs Pulse nightclub, announced this week that it will begin distributing nearly $30 million to survivors of the June crime.
The OneOrlandoFund, established after the gun tragedy in Orlandoâs Pulse nightclub took the lives of 49 innocent people, announced this week that it will begin distributing nearly $30 million to survivors of the June crime. Â
The average age of the victims was 29, and almost every one of them was Latinx. They were  âbrothers and sisters, sons and daughters, friends and neighbors, husbands and wives. But above all, they were human beings,â HRC President Chad Griffin said yesterday in Orlando at the launch of the 2016 Vocal Majority Toururging voters supporting commonsense gun violence prevention laws to vote in November..
Following the Pulse tragedy, the city of Orlando, Equality Florida and the LGBT Community Center of Central Florida established the OneOrlando Fund to help those affected by the deadly attack..
According to The Washington Post, the fund received donations from 150,000 individuals and companies in more than 120 countries.
âIn total, $29.5 million was donated to the OneOrlando Fund,â the OneOrlando Fund reported. âToday, the Board approved the allocation of funds to 299 claimants in four categories â deceased, injured with hospitalization, injured with outpatient treatment and present inside Pulse.â
Additionally, LGBTQ leaders in Orlando came together to form The LGBTQ Alliance and partnered to create TheHeal Orlando Project. HRC encourages everyone to visit http://healorlando.org/ to access support or lend a hand to Pulse survivors and victimsâ families.
For too long, a toxic combination of anti-LGBTQ hate and easy access to guns has put LGBTQ people at disproportionate risk of violence and murder. The tragic killing of 49 innocent people on Latin Night at Pulse nightclub in Orlando â young lives taken solely because of who they were â has rocked our nation to its core.Itâs time to stop the hate. âThe ability to run the extra mile lies in between your ears.â
Your brain quits before your legs do. Running is as mental as it is physical. You have to believe in yourself.
As time goes on, youâll understand. What lasts, lasts; what doesnât, doesnât. Time solves most things. And what time canât solve, you have to solve yourself.

ATTENTION ALL RUNNERS!!!
I would like to inform you all about our online running community, ârunnerâs clubâ . Anyone who gets out there and puts one foot in front of the other is welcome! Via a monthly hashtag, runners from across the globe share their running experiences, issues, questions, and more. We currently have several amazing people sharing their running adventures but always welcome and encourage new participants into our community. Again, anyone is welcome to join at any part of the month. Post as often or as little as you wish! Â
To join: Simply post under the monthly hashtag (#rcaugust2016 will be the # for August) about your run, questions, or whatever you would like. Â A lot of people posts introductions so other runners know a little about them and their background. Be sure to âtrack/followâ the hashtag so you can read other runnerâs stories as well as sharing your own.
For an example, feel free to browse Julyâs # at #rcjuly2016
Please reblog to get the word out. Canât wait to meet and see everyoneâs posts!
PS- Make sure your privacy settings are updated so that your posts will show up when people search the tag. Otherwise people can only see your posts when specifically looking at your blog or on their dash, NOT under the tag.
PSS- to make sure you r privacy settings are updated here are some poorly worded instructions⌠So on the left top side click the person like button, then press edit appearance, then at the bottom under privacy just make sure â Allow this blog to appear in search resultsâ is checked! Iâm answering this publicly just in case others are wondering as well. :-)

Itâs Day 3 of Hard Core July!
Quads feeling those squats yet? Knock out 60 today (plus a 30 second plank) and give them the rest they deserve tomorrow!
Tell me how youâre doing! Tag me and #HardCoreJuly!
Day Three done today, post-run and before my shower. I did the squats in sets of 20 while working on the latest layer of my fantastic fourth of july jello mold, then the plank. Iâm not quite at the point where this is really super hard yet, but that plank is getting there.
I did Day Two yesterday before bed, kind of squeezing it in there at the last minute (almost literally; I finished the plank at 11:45 pm).
I have no idea how I am going to make it to the end of July. That just looks impossible from here.
Trying to convince my shadow that I am someone worth following.
