I hope you saw my rose i put next to your mangled body

I hope you find it in the afterlife.

You grazing on fields and fields, galloping through flowers.

Maybe those fields with be filled with the pink rose i put next to your unblinking eye.

They are coming to pick you up sometime today.

I hope they keep the rose with you.

When i was walking back to my house, i stepped in a puddle soaking my sandalled foot. But i didn’t care, my mind was filled with visions of you happy someplace far away.

A couple days later your friend got hit, right outside my house.

It was like they wanted to say hi to you, but they took you away already. They didn’t even know they would join you. But they did.

This time i put a pink carnation next to them. I hope you both are together! That would be so lovely, wouldn’t it?

Your friends mom came today.

She nudged them, i wonder if they felt her wet nose against their body.
