a bit more about me - i am autistic. take my words at literal face value, i dont plan or intend hidden meaning behind them, but please tell me if something i say sounds weird so i can correct it! i am Christian. i post about the religion and talk about it sometimes in casual conversation because it's a large part of my identity and the reason this blog even exists, but that's not the main focus of this blog. id advise you block me if its a trigger, no hard feelings (on either side, i'd hope -)

my art contains a lot of bright colours that may not be properly tagged for eyestrain. (but i try)

insta block on scam suspicion or spotted usage of tme/tma. or other transandrophobia. tme/tma is such a privileged white term to use, i say this as a non white person.

please don't consider any free art i make for your character 'fan art'. it's 'gift art' and i can explain the reason for this distinction if you wanna ask why, its not pedantry i promise.

my stance on ai - i dont use ai at all when possible. theres a chrome extension that hides ai overview btw

rn i'm solo developing the interchange, take two. something something open world take on RPG elements where it’s easy to complete your goal, finding a guy in an entire universe, but how you get there each time is different. oh and speaking of time, every step every move every action will take a tad bit of it.

this is the biggest struggle so far in my personal journey, and i still dont know if im correct in what i believe. i encourage you and all who read this to do their own research not only to find the truth but also because the research grants peace in a way.

with that being said though my current belief is that God is okay with it (though yes i could be wrong about that, and if that ever becomes my opinion i would go back to living as my agab.)

my first source was wikipedia, it makes the facts and extrapolations very distinct (e.g. because of x translation of x verse, x denomination believes that...) where most Christian sources are biased either way. ive also looked at a lot of Reddit discussions not because i take it as fact but because its a good way to get a lot of different viewpoints and perspectives on the main debates. maybe i relied on it a little heavily when trying to figure things out myself, which could make my view inaccurate ill admit.

the Word is without error in all parts but the human component in it and translation is a human part, for example there are some verses that in the NIV / other such translate to 'man' but the original Hebrew sense of the word refers to everyone / mankind. which has caused misogynistic and other beliefs that we now know aren't true! and then i looked at those problem verses and yeah you could make a solid case for them not actually being against being queerness. most notably Leviticus 18:22, a lot of people view the 'you shall not lie with male as with woman' to be condemning pederasty (lying with a child basically).

we wont ever know though, even as i researched that just now theres still a lot of debate over it. will we ever know what the original meaning was 100%? i dont think so. and i dont think God's will is for us to fight over the meaning and the allowed / not allowed lines so hard and be so fixated on that we forget the whole point of it is for us, the law shows us how to live with love and the whole thing of how Sabbath was made for man and not the other way around. Christians are commanded to love God and love neighbours, thats the main thing to keep in mind in life is how i see it.

when i imagine the God the Bible describes, of infinite love that made Him send His own beloved child down, and then think of my identity as His child, and then imagine telling Him, i imagine He tells me that He already knows, not to worry, and then gives me a hug. thats how i personally, maybe incorrectly, think a parent of godly love would react to it.

bottom line is i think as Christians we should focus more on the love part. for this issue and just. life in general. and if you're still worried or unsure as a lot of people and i am too, why not talk about it with Him directly in prayer?

also, i'd like to add: no matter if my stance changes, all will be welcome in this space as long as they are not hateful towards others.
