Howdy! Welcome to (one of) my roleplay blogs! This is a blog I made for one of my OCs from a larger story project I'm working on. One about gods keeping a corrupt and constantly self altering Earth alive and rotating. This blog specifically is for my OC Cherry.
Cherry Sterling [originally named Aelita] is a celestial fox and the current goddess of the stars and astrology.
Her creator and the former goddess of stars banished her within a black hole for refusing to kill someone in her name. While her creator intended for her to be trapped for all eternity, Cherry was only banished for 20 years thanks to the help of a peculiar angel with the beautiful wings of a blue butterfly...
After all the suffering she endured within and before the void, She wishes to attempt to live a normal life on Earth and avoid going home for as long as possible
Though with that piece of the void nestled inside of her soul...and the stars returning after twenty years of pitch black nights...her wish to avoid fate might be nothing more than a sad dream.
Even with the goddess of judgment and the angel of reincarnation on her side.

- I prioritize my comfort so I block rather freely. A Basic DNI is set in place, if you're bigoted (racist, lgbtqphobic, Zionist, antisemitic, TERF/radfem ect) in any way or if you're a creep/predatory you're getting blocked. additionally, I will block you if you're proship/comship/profic/ect or if you Support Certain problematic people. Basically just. If you and/or what you post make me uncomfortable I'm just gonna block you and move on.
- Please do NOT send me asks with NSFW or any sexual topics. Mild gore/body horror is okay so long as there are warnings beforehand.
- My OCs are open to interaction from ALMOST any fandom or any oc verse. However for my own personal comfort there are some fandoms that I will not engage with at all (mostly media that has heavily problematic themes/content or media with problematic creators).
-i'm also working full time while being disabled, and responses and answering asks may be very slow at times due to these factors. Please be patient with me.

💫Fun facts about Cherry💫
due to corruption by the black hole, her body is unstable. "Abstracting" and painfully breaking if she's under severe stress or if she isn't careful. Because of this she's in constant pain.
Additionally, the black hole also caused damage to her vocal cords every time she tried to scream. While they have been healing since her escape it's still rather difficult for her to speak.
She adores animals, and they seem to adore her as well as there are usually some hanging around her (ex: birds, bunnies, mice and rats, ESPECIALLY Blue butterflies)
Her favorite bug is the rosy maple moth... Also relevantly her favorite colors are pink and yellow
Her favorite animals ever are bunnies and rabbits
She loves chocolate, especially dark chocolate
she can create stars and stardust and sometimes leaves trails of dust where she goes (backfires for someone who's supposed to be laying low smh)
Her entire body is covered head to toe in star freckles (these stars are interactable, glowing upon any contact, and can be traced to form temporary "constellations"). There are also "cracks"/scars from the void altering her body
She has a large (though healed) scar on her belly that resembles shooting stars
Her favorite season is winter
Her divine weapon is a bow that shoots "arrows" that appear to be shooting stars! She's an archer!
She's most certainly what you would call a "gentle giant". Despite her form being stretched and twisted to fit the void and all of the trauma she's endured from the void (and events before) she does her best to keep herself in check and be kind... though if she's in any situation that backs her into a corner she is more than likely to fight back. This time.

She desperately looks through the other mysterious messages. Afraid. She couldn't acknowledge this one right now. She just couldn't.
Giving Cherry many many many pats on the head and a warm blanket and hot chocolate
The fluffy beast is now wrapped in a warm blanket with a steaming cup of rich hot chocolate. The wonderful robotic bird still perched on top of her head. The one that probably maybe made some room for her to receive the head pats!
She looks....very content....the faint sound of purring fills the room ...so comfy.... Let's hope this moment of peacefullness lasts

Cherry, being so captivated by her little gifts, didn't even notice the bird landing on her head. Not until she felt it moving. Making itself comfortable...was this the bird she was warned about in those .... ominous letters?
Not wanting to disturb the bird she just....stands in place. Awkwardly. With her hands at her sides.

The celestial being holds the beautiful butterfly figurine in the palms of her hands as her little bunny plush sits upon her shoulder. Butterflies were...a calming and wonderful sight.
Her starry tail wags, she wasn't expecting many gifts. And yet she already received two in such a short amount of time
The tall fox catches the bunny plush with a single paw. It is considerably smaller than her own hand...that doesn't seem to bother her though. As she brings the soft toy to her partially covered face and holds it against her cheek.

As silly as it is, it's the first time she's gotten to hold a stuffed toy, or anything soft in decades
